Published in 2010, the Multi-Unit Residential Standard offers two measurement methods—the gross method and the net method. Multi-Unit Residential Buildings: Standard Methods of Measurement (ANSI/BOMA Z65.4—2010) was developed though the collaboration of BOMA International, the Institute of Real Estate Management, the National Association of Home Builders and the National Multi Housing Council.
